CYD May 2023 Convention

The California Young Democrats will be convening our annual convention in person alongside the CDP Convention in Los Angeles from May 26 - 28.


Early bird registration runs through May 5th, register by then to receive a discount on registration fees. Late registration fees after May 5th will be $75.


These days will consist of our general session meeting, caucus meetings, workshops/training sessions, keynotes, and regional meetings, among other programming that members are not going to want to miss! 

 

A more detailed schedule will be released soon.


After obtaining a ticket, you will be redirected to a page where you will be asked to complete an additional question pertaining to your ticket. Please answer it!

Ticket types are as follows:


1. Statewide Officers (including CYD Immediate Past President), Regional Directors, CCD President, CAHSD Chair


2. Ex Officios (must be a Young Dem, reside in CA, and be a member of a chartered CYD chapter)

  • Any member of the DNC
  • Any elected CDP officer
  • Any elected YDA, CDA, or HSDA Officer, including YDA Pacific Region Director
  • Any CYD, YDA, CDA, or HSDA Caucus Chairs


3. Delegate of a duly chartered chapter, selected by the chapter.


4. Caucuses (CCD, CAHSD, Special Caucuses) – 2 delegates each, selected by caucus.


5. Any Young Dem DSCC Member (CDP Delegate) who is a member of a chartered CYD chapter


If you are a member of CYD or a CYD chapter, but none of the above, choose a non-voting member option.

 

Contribution rules

  1. I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
  2. This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
  3. I am at least eighteen years old.
  4. I am not a federal contractor.
  5. I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
