As a father, professor, and President of the Muscatine School Board, our state's best investment is investing in our future through public education.
When I first moved to the state, the motto was “Fields of Opportunity,” and right now, I believe those fields are barren due to the current representation in the Iowa Senate.
Iowans deserve a better deal. District 48 deserves a Senator who:
- ensures our public money goes to public schools;
- strengthens mental health services in Iowa;
- bringing economic development back to the state by making it more welcoming for people and businesses' investments; and,
- respecting the reproductive freedoms of Iowa's women.
I'm running for State Senate District 48 because Senate Republicans have short-changed Iowa's public education, taking away opportunities for Iowa to grow.
