CA Central Coast DACA for DREAMers

Help DREAMers train themselves and organize to help each other apply President Obama's Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program. Here on the CA Central Coast, 10,000 young immigrants brought to the US without papers as children are now eligible for provisional legal status, work permits and drivers licenses. These funds will pay for materials for the frequent (now 2-3/month!) free public DACA workshops staffed by young DREAMer volunteers. Once we cover those costs, we will begin paying half the cost of the $485 application fee for as many of our dedicated volunteers as possible.
