I am running for Tennessee State Senate in District 28 (Maury, Marshall, Giles, Lewis, and part of Williamson County). This seat is currently held by Senator Joey Hensley, a very conservative Republican. I will be seeking the Democratic Party nomination in the August 1, 2024 primary, and hope to face Sen. Hensley (or another Republican) in the November 5, 2024 general election.


Donations will go to my campaign committee (James Dallas for Tennessee Senate 2024).


There will be many good Democrats on the ballot in 2024 who need your help, many in close races. But, it is important that we stand up for common sense even in districts that have voted "red" in previous elections.
