With over 40 years of experience in education, including 30 years as an administrator, I bring a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing our community colleges. My decade of service on the Stockton City Council has given me valuable insights into the needs of our community, particularly in ensuring that educational institutions like San Joaquin Delta College are responsive to the demands of local industries and the aspirations of our students.
My commitment to career-technical education is personal and professional. I've worked closely with educational programs that prepare students for the workforce, understanding firsthand the importance of aligning curriculum with job market needs. As the husband of a proud Delta College graduate, I am keenly aware of the college's role in transforming lives and providing pathways to success.
