Holiday Dance for Democracy
Now that the 2026 elections are behind us, we are working to retake the US House of Representatives, Senate and to elect progressives to other positions in 2027 and 2028. This is critical in light of the direction the Trump administration is leading this country. To be honest, (like you, I suspect) we wake up many days and don’t even recognize our country.
To be successful, it will need to be all hands on-deck. We will need funds for campaign support and volunteers for various campaigns in 2027 & 2028. To make this happen, we are holding our second Holiday Dance for Democracy fundraiser on Saturday, December 5th.
We invite you to serve on the Fundraiser’s Host Committee to lend your resources and name to this event. Our Host Committee giving levels are as follow (native trees that can be found on both sides of the Delaware River):
White Oak - $5,000 – with an additional 6 general admission tickets
Eastern Redbud - $1,000 – an additional 4 tickets
Hickory - $500 – an additional 2 tickets
Sugar Maple- $250 – an additional 2 tickets
General admission tickets will be $50 (or $60 at the door), and $30 for students.
With each donation level, we will provide you with additional general admission tickets to give to others who might not otherwise be able to join the party.
We hope you will step forward and join the Host Committee at the highest level possible for you. We absolutely MUST win in 2027 and 2028. You can make a payment by sending a check to DVA! at P.O. Box 191, Milford, PA 18337 or online here.
The Holiday Dance for Democracy will again be held at the beautiful space in the renovated R.H. Smith Mercantile building at 22 Jersey Avenue in Port Jervis.
