

Bhangra is the traditional dance of Punjabi region of South Asia. Punjabi farmers started to use different farming activities to create a dance form to celebrate food-growing, harvesting and relationship to the land. This community-centered dance came to be know as Bhangra. Today Bhangra music and dance is also seen in Bollywood movies, and is a high-energy cardio activity!
Join us on September 24 for a one-of-a-kind dance workshop with ATX Bhangra - a local Austin community-driven Bhangra dance group that does performances and has classes for all ages.
