I’m Danielle Dougherty, a mom, a veteran, a nurse practitioner, and a ninth generation West Virginian, and I’m running for the House of Delegates in District 66 because our kids deserve more than just surviving in these mountains. I was raised in a working class family in Randolph county, learning early the value of service, hard work, and standing up for what is right.
As a parent, I am frustrated by leaders who put personal agendas ahead of the people they are meant to serve.
I am running to fight for strong schools, support for teachers and state employees, affordable utilities, early childhood development, and an economy that allows families to stay, work, and thrive.
