El Portal is home. For 14 years, my family has lived here, and I've spent the last stretch actually showing up — to council meetings, to budget hearings, tree board meetings, to the Little River Conservancy board — before ever asking for anyone's vote.

I'm running for Village Council because I believe this community deserves leadership that's transparent, that protects the river and the canopy that make El Portal what it is, and that puts residents ahead of outside interests.
