Darius, a fourth-generation Texan with a background in education and community activism, is a passionate advocate for public education in Sheldon ISD. Raised by hardworking parents and deeply committed to educational equity, Darius channels his values into his work as an educator, foster Dad, union member, and community organizer.


Drawing from his experience in the UHCL Civic Engagement Coalition where he broke records in voter turnout, Darius understands the power of strong role models in shaping children’s lives. Through his work empowering teachers and uplifting students, he strives to create a more inclusive and supportive educational environment in Sheldon ISD. Darius is dedicated to fighting against discrimination and ensuring that every child in the district has access to a fair education.


With a firm belief in the importance of supporting public education, Darius brings a unique perspective and a commitment to making a positive impact in his community.
