Together, we can move our community forward.

I am committed to defending democracy, protecting tenants, expanding LGBTQ+ equality, and ensuring that New York remains a place where working- and middle-class families can live, not just visit.

As a longtime public school educator and community advocate, I see every day how policy decisions in Albany shape people’s lives on the ground. Our city is at a crossroads: families are struggling with housing costs, childcare, and healthcare, while our public schools face mounting inequities. Recent citywide education reports show that fewer than 50% of our fourth graders are meeting math proficiency standards, with deep racial and economic disparities. Behind those numbers are real children—bright, capable students whose futures depend on whether we are willing to invest in housing, schools, and public services instead of continuing to treat them as afterthoughts.

My campaign is built on three core priorities:

  1. Affordability and family stability – fighting for housing protections, childcare investment, and fair wages so that families are not pushed out of the neighborhoods they have built.
  2. Education and equity – improving math and literacy outcomes, expanding bilingual and dual-language programs, and directing resources to the schools and communities that have been systematically underfunded.
  3. Community investment and democracy – protecting public services and ensuring our tax dollars fund local priorities that serve our neighborhoods and the next generation so we can fund climate resilience, public transit, and social infrastructure while protecting and expanding voting rights.
