My name is Dave Oxman, and I'm running for the Democratic nomination for Congress in Pennsylvania's 3rd District.

I'm a lifelong Democrat and believe deeply in public service - but I'm not a career politician. I'm an intensive care doctor who has dedicated his life to caring for people when they are at their most vulnerable. As an ICU doctor, I’m trained to recognize and treat critical conditions. And today, when I look at my Democratic party, I see a party fighting for its life.

Too many Americans question if our party truly represents them, or see our leaders as disconnected and too influenced by special interests. Simply opposing Donald Trump isn't enough. We need leaders that understand the struggles people face and have the real-world experience to address them. From our broken healthcare system, to the student debt crisis, to the unaffordability of housing, we need to be bold, not just offer cautious adjustments.

Medicine has taught me about compassion, common sense, and teamwork. During the COVID pandemic, my colleagues and I overcame unprecedented challenges by relying on these principles every day. Now, I want to bring these values to Congress. 

But I cannot do it without you.
