David Johnson

David Johnson for State Representative-91st District

I’m a teacher running for office because I believe our communities deserve leaders who truly understand everyday struggles—and who lead with heart, not ego. I’ve taught in both Estill County Schools and Madison County Schools, which make up the 91st House District. I’ve spent a few years in the classroom and know firsthand what our schools need—something most politicians can’t say.

I have no hidden agenda, no interest in headlines, and I’m not doing this for attention. My dad was a police officer, my stepdad served in the Navy, and I’ve worked to make real change—like helping craft Kentucky’s insulin copay cap to lower costs for families. I’ve also honored our local history by naming highways after the Battle of Richmond and the late Sheriff Jerry Combs.

I support our seniors, proudly back all of our first responders and local heroes, and I’ll always put people over politics. I’m not backed by political machine money—just everyday, hardworking people who want honest leadership.

If you believe in putting people over politics, I’d be grateful for your support. I hope you’ll join me in making a real difference in the 91st House District as your next State Representative.

Chip in today to help us build something better—together.
