From April 20-23, 40 leaders organizing with poor and working class white communities across the U.S. will gather at the historic Highlander Center to share skills, strategy, and analysis about building racial justice. My trusted friends at the Catalyst Project have envisioned and are organizing this event -- we just need your donation to help make it happen.
We made my goal to raise $750 --> can you help stretch to $1000?
I grew up as a white kid in rural Indiana and Michigan. As I watched Midwestern votes roll in on Election Night, I cried to see that so many of my people voted in alignment with overt racism. Since that night, I've been hungry to see the kinds of political education that can change peoples' hearts and minds toward liberation -- especially the hearts and minds of poor and working class white folks whose liberation is entwined with economic AND racial justice.
The moment I learned about this event, I knew I wanted to support it -- and I hope you do too! Thank you so much for being part of this critical moment for liberation.
