Friends of the Draft Beto facebook group (facebook.com/groups/DraftBeto/):


We are on the cusp of a possible Beto O'Rourke presidential run announcement. This is the reason we're here!


One consideration for Beto will be whether he starts his campaign with any money, and whether the same kind of grassroots, small-donor spirit will be there for him as it was in 2018, if he runs in 2020.


This is where we step in. Over the next week, leading to his interview with Oprah on Feb 13, we will seek to raise at least $10,000 for Beto from our group members, hopefully more!


We ask that people give as much as they can, at least this one time, as a show of commitment to Beto if he does choose to run. This is what he needs to see right now.


So if you can give $1000, give that. If you can give $10, give that. If you can give anywhere in between or outside those amounts, give that. If everyone gives $5, we'll hit $10,000. If everyone gives much more than that, we'll raise a lot more, and could garner a lot more attention.


Ok friends, enough talk: LET'S GO CONVINCE BETO TO RUN FOR PRESIDENT!!!
