Since 2014 IfNotNow - an emergent millennial movement of young American Jews – has been organizing to end our community’s support for the occupation of Palestine. IfNotNow is grounded in the belief that the liberation of Jews is bound up with other oppressed groups, both in this country and in Israel/Palestine. Our movement has only grown since this end, and we are now the #JewishResistance to the Occupation, as well as to all forms of anti-Antisemitism, Islamophobia, racism, misogyny, homophobia, and xenophobia.
We plan to show up strongly and proudly with 2000 IfNotNow members at the 2017 AIPAC Conference to demonstrate publicly that young Jews are rising up to resist, reclaim, and re-imagine our Jewish community. We do this not only for our own liberation, but also to further the liberation of others, particularly those whose oppression we are complicit in.
The time has come to take the #JewishResistance to AIPAC’s doorstep. In this moment of crisis, we must be willing to dream big.
However, we can’t make any of this happen without the support of our community. IfNotNow’s DC Chapter has pledged to raise $2,500 for our action against the 2017 AIPAC Conference.
Help us mobilize our community and show AIPAC and the Jewish American establishment that we will no longer be complicit in an Occupation that is a daily nightmare for those who live it, and a moral disaster for those who support it.
Help us reach our goal today. Join the #JewishResistance and donate to our cause. Every little bit helps.
