Support Dorchester Democrats in 2026

The 2026 election is underway, and Dorchester Democrats are organizing across the county.

This year, Dorchester voters will choose candidates for statewide office, Congress, the Maryland General Assembly, County Council, Sheriff, Register of Wills, Board of Education, and other local offices. The Dorchester County Democratic Central Committee is working throughout the election cycle to recruit and support Democratic candidates, communicate with voters, organize get-out-the-vote activities, and provide opportunities for people across the county to get involved.

Contributions to the Dorchester County Democratic Central Committee support local organizing, including:

• voter outreach and communications
• candidate recruitment and support
• canvassing and get-out-the-vote activities
• signs, mailings, flyers, and other voter materials
• candidate and community events
• voter registration information
• Democratic headquarters and year-round organizing in Cambridge

The Committee’s work is carried out by local volunteers and is focused on building and maintaining the Democratic organization in Dorchester County throughout the 2026 election cycle.
