Contribution rules
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
- I am at least eighteen years old.
- I am not a federal contractor.
- I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
Contributions or gifts to DCCC are not tax deductible.
Individuals can contribute as much as $44,300 ($88,600 per couple) per calendar year to DCCC's general fund for use at DCCC's sole discretion. A multicandidate PAC can contribute as much as $15,000 per calendar year to DCCC’s general fund for use at DCCC’s sole discretion. All amounts in excess of this by individuals or PACs, up to the legal limits, will be for DCCC's headquarters account or recount and other legal proceedings account.

- Your contribution to a nominee fund will be held in escrow by ActBlue until a 2026 Democratic candidate is nominated in the congressional district for which you selected. Your contribution will be forwarded to the Democratic nominee within ten days of their nomination. Contributions will count toward your general election contribution limit to the candidate (currently $3,500 for individuals and $5,000 for multicandidate committees) and will be aggregated with contributions made directly by you to the candidate. In the unlikely event that no nominee is selected or if your contribution would exceed the contribution limit to the candidate or it’s returned by the candidate, your contribution will revert to ActBlue and will be considered as a contribution to ActBlue.
