Democrats in the California State Senate and Assembly were briefed late Sunday night on the governor's redistricting effort... in the virtual meeting, state lawmakers were shown polling around "adopting new California congressional districts passed by the Legislature for use in congressional elections through 2030."
Texas is threatening to gerrymander their maps to ensure a MAGA victory in next year's elections: not by passing good policy but by drawing new lines to enshrine their power. And if they win, they'll silence all of our voices.
But progressives are fighting back.
