As Lawrence City Councilor for District A, I am proud to be the voice of our community on the City Council. Since moving to Lawrence in 1997, I've been a teacher, a volunteer, and a tireless advocate for the community. I am the head of the District A Neighborhood Association and enjoy attending every meeting to listen to the concerns of my neighbors. I invite all members of our community and local authorities to every meeting. I believe it is important for people to have a trusting relationship with their local government. This is why I enjoy facilitating community relationships with the police, firefighters, DPW and other services the great city of Lawrence offers.
I pride myself on always being available to my constituents. My phone line is always open for anyone with concerns to call and let me know what is bothering them so I can help them access the resources they need to resolve their situation, or assist them in any way.
