I am running for U.S. Senate because we cannot afford to wait for the political establishment to get their act together. We need to send someone to Washington who will shock the system into prioritizing working families, like yours and mine.
The Democratic Party, in particular, needs a new, more aggressive style of leaders who have the political courage to cut through the dysfunction and solve real problems. The old ways of doing things are just not cutting it. Our futures and our children's futures are on the line, and I do not trust the politicians who got us into this mess, to get us out of it.
