I have been a volunteer with Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America since weeks after the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting. My work with Moms has opened my eyes to the issue of gun violence and the need to keep pushing our legislators to protect our communities.

This June 2, I’ll be wearing orange to recognize National Gun Violence Awareness Day and to honor victims of gun violence. I’m also raising money to support the work that I and thousands of others do in our state. Please consider donating whatever you can afford to this essential cause!
