Theday after the Sandy Hook massacre my life changed forever, when I realized thatpain and grief are meaningless without action. During the last four years ofworking with Moms Demand Action, I have seen firsthand the amazing impact thatwell-trained, dedicated volunteer activists can have on gun violence in our country. This work is one of the largest challenges I have ever taken on, and one of the most gratifying. I work with some of the most amazing leaders, volunteers, survivors, and legislators anyone could ever have the honor of knowing. There is no doubt in my mind that we CAN win, and we WILL win, the fight to secure a safer tomorrow for our families and communities.
I believe so strongly in whatMoms is doing that I’ve now challenged myself to raise $1,000 for Moms DemandAction by June 2nd - Gun Violence Awareness Day. Please help me and my fellowgun violence prevention warriors continue our hard work. When you give, your taxdeductible donation will help fuel the work of Moms here in PA and across thecountry.
On behalf of all Momsvolunteers and survivors across the country, I thank you from the bottom of myheart.
