Over the past eight years on the Durham City Council, she has been a bold and consistent advocate for justice that works every day to advance social, economic, and environmental equity. DeDreana holds a Master of Public Administration from North Carolina Central University and brings the perspective of both a small business owner and a longtime community organizer. She has helped build people-powered movements rooted in humanity, fairness, and shared responsibility.
