Give to Defeat Big Money

Goal thermometer

I am running for the U.S. Senate because as a public school teacher and father, I care about our kids' future. The next generation of Mainers, and of Americans, deserve to grow up in a country where we invest in public education, protect our environment, and guarantee health care for every person.

The single greatest obstacle to building that America is the corrosive and corrupting influence of big money in our politics. Right now, decisions in Washington are made for the benefit of campaign donors, not the American people. We desperately need to enact comprehensive campaign finance reform that ends the dominance of big money in our political system and empowers everyday Americans to make their voices heard.

Doing that starts with living our values. As a U.S. Senate candidate, I am refusing to take one penny from PACs, corporations, or lobbyists because you can't fix the system if you're corrupted by it. Instead, I am counting on ordinary people giving what they can to support a better future for our communities and our country.

With hope,

Zak Ringelstein

Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate in Maine
