Hello. My name is Deidra Ritchhart, & I'm running for Utah State Senate District 29. I was born & raised in a small farming town in Missouri. I have the same morals and values as most Utahans. I was brought up to work hard, & make life count. I am running for the Utah State Senate because I want to make a difference. A big priority of mine is changing the laws about sexual abuse of minors, and sexual crimes. I am also an advocate of human trafficking. Being that St George is 2 hours from Las Vegas (the second highest city for trafficking in America), I believe we should make their safety #1. I will make it a requirement to post the trafficking hotline poster in every restaurant, gas station, & hotel. My home state did this, and it should be across every state in our country. I also value education, and I will make sure teachers are paid what they deserve.
