Del. Marcia "Cia" Price represents the 85th House District. This year, she got more than 20 important bills and resolutions passed that impact the lives of working families in voting rights, education, gun violence prevention, housing justice, reproductive freedom, and more.
As Chair of the Privileges and Elections Committee, she worked to protect our election system and democracy from attacks and rollbacks. And she helped lead the charge to get to and win the April 21st Redistricting Referendum.
She has worked on important legislation, including being the lead sponsor for the Virginia Right to Contraception Act (2026), Virginia Deaths in Custody Reporting Act (2024), the Voting Rights Act of Virginia (2021), and other legislation on student loan debt, eviction prevention, mental health, and election protection.
She is the first out Black woman member of the LGBTQIA+ community to serve in the General Assembly's 400+ year history. Price is a leading voice for civil rights, equity, justice, and compassion. Please support her work and our fight for ALL Virginians!
