Democracy on the Rocks is a 'By Invitation Only' Cocktail Party and Prize Raffle.
Receive event invitation, drink tokens, and raffle tickets (number determined by contribution level on this site).
Enjoy heavy hors d'oeuvres and a select offering of spirited and spirit free adult beverages including beer, wine, and premade 'from scratch' cocktails. An assortment of soft drinks, water, and a small coffee bar will be available as well.
Raffle tickets will be used to try to win one or more of your favorite prizes including artwork, a pet portrait, pottery crafted by local artists and several really nice gift certificates for local businesses.
Participate in the 50/50 monetary raffle for a chance to win half of the money collected.
Decorations will be in shades of blue. Please join us wearing your blue apparel to create our own blue wave before the big one coming in November.
Group Shelter 1 is a nice air conditioned building with restrooms. Enter Cloudland Canyon State Park from Hwy 136, then follow the DCDC signs to the party.
