Democracy is under attack. Citizens are now in a battle to preserve our justice system, constitutional rights, environment, and national security.
The mission of the Democrat Committee of LaFayette is to find and support residents for elected office in LaFayette and to support regional county and state Democrat representatives and candidates that will fight to maintain the traditional values of decency, dignity, and democracy that patriotic Americans have fought and died for over the course of our nation's history.
Locally, we are always looking for candidates that share our vision of LaFayette as a community-centered town capable of retaining its rural character through "Smart Growth" and consideration of our local history. At the same time we support controlled growth that offers more conveniences and business opportunities to our residents. We prioritize a clean, green, and healthy environment and value citizens working with our government to preserve and promote these goals.

Money to rent space to hold community forums, purchase and distribute flyers, pay transportation expenses, purchase signs, and put ads on public media are absolutely critical.
