OUR MISSION

We champion and promote Democratic principles, issues, and candidates by educating voters, increasing constituent participation, and ensuring election integrity. We successfully collaborate with partner organizations at the local, state, and national levels. A charter club of the California Democratic Party, Democratic Women of Santa Barbara County has participated in progressive campaigns for over 50 years.

We endorse only pro-choice Democratic candidates who share our ideals and values. If a candidate meets our rigorous standards and requirements, we endorse and support them financially, with volunteers, and with visibility.
