Democratic Moneyball - Post Midterms 2022 (Georgia Runoff)

UPDATED AFTER 2022 MIDTERM ELECTIONS - GEORGIA RUNOFFS

The majority of Americans support keeping abortion legal, universal healthcare, same sex marriage, stricter common sense gun laws, immigration and fair pathways to citizenship for migrants, and increased social security.

Poll after poll have shown that the majority of Americans support Democratic policies today - far more so than 50 years ago. Yet Democrats are underrepresented in government despite consistently strong support from younger generations.

The Republican party, knowing the reality of their demographic disadvantage and clinging to the last threads of power, have resorted to playing dirty with the support of the wealthiest 1% and a loud minority.

From Gerrymandering district maps that decrease the impact of diverse communities, to blatantly made-up rules to block President Obama's Supreme Court pick then contradicting that same rule for Trump to force a backward theocratic conservative court.

Republican messaging targets the working class. They manipulate hard-working Americans lies and half-truths, distracting from the fact that their policies actively work against the interests and values of working class citizens.

The truth is, we, the majority, must constantly fight an uphill battle to attain fair representation.

Democrats across the country have proven that small-dollar donations add up and can compete with the parasitic corporate interests backing the complicit Republicans who undermine democracy and the interests of real working Americans.

Small dollars from the many can beat the big dollars from the few.

We helped to send those dollars where they'll make the biggest impact.

We frequently change the recipient list based on FEC data in comparison to their GOP opponents, targeting the candidates that needed funding the most.

Then we split every dollar you contribute to help communicate the importance of the races in the next election cycle.

Since the 2022 Midterms have ended, we have switched to a split between Raphael Warnock (for his runoff against Walker for the GA Senate seat) and the DNC. As 2024 approaches, we will be updating this page to help support the tossups in the races for that election. (As usual, you can customize the split for each contribution.)
