Sustained policy change and progress depend on keeping our majorities. Voter suppression, redistricting and a formidable Republican bench intensify the already challenging task of maintaining control in a midterm election. We need to be prepared for 2026, 2028 and beyond.

Democrats Work For America is a national grassroots political action committee that focuses on rigorous, community-based assessment of districts and candidates to identify the candidate most able to win the seat in the general with targeted grassroots support. We use a 'grassroots up', multi-state, multi-cycle strategy to win blue, keep it blue, and build the bench.

Our model is effective. In our first two cycles we won 305 primaries, 327 seats and assessed over 700 races. Candidates that we identify and support pre-primary consistently outperform those we don’t support until their nomination.
