Hello, I'm Derek Hawn, and I'm running to serve the wonderful communities of District 41 in the Tennessee State House. With over 18 years of dedicated service in fire and emergency services, and a background as a Dual Credit Instructor at Roane State Community College, I have a deep commitment to the safety, education, and well-being of our residents.
Born and raised right here in Tennessee, I've had the privilege of witnessing the strength and resilience of our communities. I am passionate about using my experience and knowledge to contribute to the prosperity and safety of our state.
In my career in fire and emergency services, I’ve learned the importance of quick thinking, collaboration, and commitment to community. These are values that I will bring to the State House, ensuring that the voices and needs of District 41 are always at the forefront.
As a Dual Credit Instructor, I worked directly with high school students, helping to prepare the next generation for success. Education is a cornerstone of any thriving community, and I am committed to ensuring that our schools are top-notch, providing students with the resources they need to succeed.
I am running on a platform of integrity, transparency, and accountability. My priorities include strengthening our local schools, fostering economic development, ensuring access to affordable healthcare, and protecting our beautiful natural resources.
Your support is crucial to our campaign. Every contribution, big or small, will empower us to reach voters across the district and share our vision for a brighter, more prosperous Tennessee.
Together, we can make a difference. Thank you for your support, and I am eager to represent you and fight for our shared values in the Tennessee State House.
