About Samantha:

Samantha is employed by the United Food and Commercial Workers District Union Local One and has been a member of the Labor Movement for over 30 years.

She has traveled across the county to work on several Organizing Campaigns for other UFCW Locals and has proven successful. February 2018, Samantha was elected as the first female President to the Central New York Labor Council in Utica, NY. The council represents 14,000 members and 34 AFL-CIO Union Affiliates.

Active in the community, Samantha is currently board president of the James R. Cook Labor Agency, Inc., a board member of the Workforce Investment Board and the Oriskany Public Library. She is an active community member of the Oriskany Sports Boosters and a past board member of the YWCA of the Mohawk Valley. Samantha is also a past board Member of the United Way of the Mohawk Valley and Greater Utica.
