Re-elect Commonwealth Attorney Steve Descano!

On Tuesday, June 20th, Steve won the Democratic primary for Commonwealth Attorney in Fairfax County, VA!


Steve is an Army veteran and former federal prosecutor who ran successfully for Fairfax County Attorney in 2019. He served on Fairfax County's Police Civilian Review Panel, the oversight body tasked with conducting civilian oversight of the county police department, on the Fairfax County NAACP Criminal Justice Committee, and was COO and General Counsel at Paragon Autism Services. Since taking office in 2020, Steve has reformed Fairfax’s criminal justice system by focusing on fairness, equality, and justice.


We are thrilled to join Fairfax County congressional representatives Rep. Don Beyer and Rep. Gerry Connolly, former Gov. Terry McAuliffe, VoteVets, Working Families Party, ReproRights VA and other leading Democrats in endorsing Steve.
