Abortion is under attack in Arizona - Help keep our Abortion Clinic Open!

Help us keep providing patients resources & education to remain safe and receive great reproductive healthcare.

_____

Desert Star Institute for family planning is an independent abortion clinic. Desert Star was founded to do abortions and we will do abortions until we can not do them anymore.

We are also so much more.

We are a beacon and a safe space for historically marginalized communities who traditionally face barriers to care. We center them. We serve them.

They deserve just dignified an exceptional health care and that is what we strive to provide. Yes we are an abortion clinic, and yes, we are so much more to the community that has come to rely on us for their care and well-being.

Our doors must stay open because we know that when independent abortion clinics close they do not return. Our community needs us.

We are steadfast and unmovable in our resolve to stay the course and be ready to provide abortion care whenever we are able to do so.

Each of us should be able to make decisions about our health and our future with dignity and respect.

Arizonans deserve access to the care and resources they need to thrive. If, when, and how to form families is one of the biggest decisions that a person can make.

We need to trust pregnant people with autonomy over their bodies and lives. They know what is best for themselves and their families.

We cannot amplify enough who these abortion bans mostly impact. Historically marginalized and oppressed groups who already face barriers to care.

These are low-income families, rural residents, immigrants, disabled, Black, Indigenous, and people of color.

These communities experience physical, medical, emotional and financial harm because of these policies.

We will continue to fiercely advocate for reproductive justice because Arizonans deserve better.

Help our doors stay open.
