I am running for DeKalb County board representing the 5th District including Cortland and parts of Maple Park, Sycamore, and DeKalb. Through both good and tough times, we have continued to look out for one another and be a helping hand to each other. That resilience and sense of community have inspired me to run for office and to help be a voice to represent the different views and feelings we all have about how much we love these places we call home.

I support economic opportunities that will create well paid union jobs, keep our nursing home county owned, and policies that promote safe and clean environments for our families to flourish.

We need representatives with bold and innovative ideas that can create new opportunities.
