Stacy Hackenberg is running for reelection in order to continue working to improve the court. Stacy inherited an office from a 32-year incumbent. She has worked to convert the office to paperless, transitioned to the database used by the county and instituted reforms in determining ability to pay fines. She has introduced a policy that allows electronic filing of claims and standing orders allowing the county court and magistrate's office to clear Class C misdemeanors from her court from any one who remains in county lockup for more than 8 hours using jail credit. Stacy wants to continue to find new ways to allow her constituents to work with the court and will continue to fight for LGBTQ rights and recognition.
