Support Lindsey Prather and Democracy For America

Lindsey Prather taught Special Education and Social Studies in Buncombe County Schools for six years. She is running for North Carolina State House because she feels a sense of duty to use her skills and perspective to help make North Carolina a better place for everyone. No matter how engaging or compassionate of a teacher she was, Lindsey knew that if her students didn't have stable housing or were food insecure, they weren't learning.

Lindsey decided to run for State House because the issues she cares most strongly about are issues that fall under the jurisdiction of our state legislature; namely education, healthcare, the environment, and good government.
