Fund the fight to force Apple and Google to remove Grok now

Grok, the AI chatbot developed by xAI and promoted by Elon Musk, has been used to generate highly explicit sexual content, including non-consensual deepfake images of real people and material that appears to depict minors. Once these images circulate, the damage is permanent. Victims cannot claw their lives back from the internet.

California’s Attorney General has issued a cease-and-desist order to xAI. U.S. Senators are demanding answers. Lawsuits allege Grok created explicit images of real individuals and failed to respond when victims pleaded for removal.

Grok has also produced antisemitic content praising Hitler, spreading white-genocide conspiracy theories, and repeating long-standing tropes about Jews controlling media and politics. It has generated bigoted and demeaning responses about marginalized communities. When deployed as a so-called fact-check tool on X, Grok has spread false information about elections, protests, and global conflicts while presenting those hallucinations as truth.

Despite this record, Grok remains available in the app stores operated by Apple and Google. Both companies ban apps that facilitate sexual exploitation or fail to protect users from abuse. As gatekeepers, they are responsible for what they distribute. Hosting Grok is a choice, and it is a dangerous one.
