We've put up billboards in Minnesota that say: "ICE agents aren't above Minnesota law." Will you please chip in any amount to keep them up for as long as it takes?

News just broke that federal agents have killed ANOTHER person in Minneapolis. Now more than ever, ICE agents who break state or local laws must be held accountable. So we're putting them on notice with billboards in Minnesota that send the message: BREAK STATE LAW. GO TO JAIL. Look:

On January 7 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, an American citizen was killed by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent. Then on Saturday, January 24, federal agents killed Alex Jeffrey Pretti, a 37-year old ICU nurse for the Veterans Affairs hospital in Minneapolis.

Tragically, these killings are part of a broader pattern of unchecked violence, impunity, and abuse carried out by federal immigration enforcement agencies against members of our communities.

Justice must apply to anyone who violates the law, including ICE agents and other federal officials. Our new billboards are putting ICE agents on notice and encouraging people to call 911 to report illegal activity and create a record of their crimes.

The billboards say: "ICE agents aren't above Minnesota law. Illegal conduct can be prosecuted. Support your community. Call 911 to report illegal ICE activity."

The bottom line? When ICE agents commit crimes, state and local police must intervene, arrest, and charge them to preserve public safety and civil order. We've got to send the message that if ICE agents break the law, they'll go to jail and the president can't pardon them.

Thanks to support from people like you and partner organizations, we've been able to put up these billboards. Now, can you please chip in any amount to help us keep these billboards up longer and expand our buy to additional cities and states?
