My commitment to fighting for gun violence prevention started small. After Sandy Hook, schools in NYC started doing lock down drills and suddenly an issue that seemed so far away was right there in front of me. I knew I had to do something and slowly I started to get involved. Sadly, I have learned how pervasive gun violence is. I've also learned that we are not helpless in this fight. There are many tenacious moms all around the country who are not afraid to raise their voices.
I'm asking you to join me in the fight. Help us amplify our voices with a donation. All funds raised will go directly to Moms Demand Action to support initiatives including public awareness programs, such as the BeSMART and Wear Orange campaigns, critical gun violence research, and the Everytown Survivor Network.
