Dear Friends,
I’m thrilled to be running for the Wisconsin State Senate! Following State Senator Jon Erpenbach’s decision not to seek re-election--and with strong encouragement from the community--I opted to run for the 27th Senate District seat. It was a privilege to represent the 79th Assembly District, and I would be honored to continue my service in the State Senate.
I have worked throughout the summer listening to voters, answering questions, attending community gatherings, and importantly, supporting Governor Evers special session to eliminate the Wisconsin Abortion ban. I understand your priorities.
Your message is clear: fund public education; defend reproductive freedom; stop surging gun violence; ensure affordable, accessible healthcare; sustain natural resources; protect our democracy with safe elections and fair redistricting; support collective bargaining.
To achieve your priorities, I need your help. There is a Republican in this race, and he is serious. He is attending various events, securing endorsements and working with the GOP establishment. While I was standing for democracy, fighting for safe, secure, and accessible voting, he was spreading the Big Lie about stolen elections! He is a well-funded, right-wing extremist, and I need your strong support to keep him out of the state senate.
To help my Senate bid, I invite you to attend an open house hosted by my good friend, Marianne Bloch’s. I have known her for years, and her support means so much to me.
Please join me Tuesday, October 25th at Marianne Bloch’s
5:00-6:30 PM
I would be honored to have you sponsor my event at one of the following levels: Champion ($2000), Advocate ($1000), Activist ($500), Supporter ($250), Friend ($100), and Buddy ($50), or whatever you can give.
All donations are gratefully appreciated and can be sent to Friends of Dianne Hesselbein, 1420 N. High Point Road, Middleton, WI 53562 or by credit card.
I hope to see you on October 25th!
