Contribution rules
- In the past twelve months, I have not been a lobbyist registered with Los Angeles County.
- I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
- I am at least eighteen years old.
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
Contributions to District Attorney George Gascón Officeholder Account are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. County Law permits individuals, businesses, corporations, and Political Action Committees to contribute up to $1,500 per Calendar Year. District Attorney George Gascón Officeholder Account cannot accept contributions from registered County lobbyists or “foreign nationals.” Contributions must be from the donor’s own funds and may not be reimbursed by any other person.
