On November 19, 2021, House Democrats passed the Build Back Better Act, the most significant piece of legislation since the New Deal or Great Society!
In its current form, we can truly transform our country for the better—fight climate change, decrease child poverty, expand health care, create good jobs, and more.
But very powerful and wealthy interests are still fighting hard to chip away at popular provisions, like paid leave. We'll have to work hard to ensure Senate Democrats deliver for us, not corporations or the ultra-rich.
