Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) allows some undocumented youth to receive a renewable two-year period of deferred action from deportation and become eligible for a work permit in the U.S.
But with renewals priced at $495 per person—not to mention the cost of attorney fees—many eligible people are left behind, and remain at risk for deportation.
Through their DACA Renewal Fund, United We Dream is raising money to support clinics—which will help immigrant youth process their renewals—and raising money to cover renewal fees. So far, the fund has supported more than 3,000 DACA recipients.
Chip in today to help fund DACA renewals, and continued advocacy for immigrant youth.
