From our earliest days, Daily Kos has always believed that the best way to effect progressive change in this country is to elect more and better Democrats. It’s simple: Unless and until we obtain legislative and executive power in both Washington, D.C., and the states, we can’t enact the policies that we all want—and our nation needs.

In the 2019-20 election cycle, as we all work to win back the White House, there's tons of important work to do further down the ballot.
