Democrats won a smashing victory in 2018, reclaiming the House with the largest number of pickups since the Watergate election of 1974. But now's not the time to rest on our laurels.
As we fight to reclaim the White House and Senate in 2020, we also need to expand our majority in the House to ensure that we can pass the most progressive legislation possible once Democrats are back in charge in D.C. The larger our caucus, the more party leaders will be able to push liberal bills.
And the good news is, despite the major gains we just made, we still have many more good targets. A number of Republicans won by the skin of their teeth, and many more sit in districts that are trending our way. They'll all face serious challenges again.
Plus there's the Trump factor: Even though he wasn't on the ballot, Donald Trump alienated did such a good job alienating once-reliably Republican voters that they switched sides and helped deliver the House to us. This time, he will be on the ballot, so there's no telling how much damage he might cause.
We've identified a key group of takeover targets that Republicans will be scrambling to defend this year.
Please donate $1 to help Democrats defeat each of these Republican incumbents and expand our majority in the House!
