The 2022 election has presented us with some enormous hurdles: We will have to overcome unprecedented voter suppression, challenges presented by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, misinformation, and more. In Pennsylvania specifically, Republicans have launched an attack on drop boxes, and the mail-in voting law has been ruled unconstitutional (but still remains in effect as a valid form of voting). Seats at stake include governor, lieutenant governor, and U.S. Senate races, and a number of U.S. House and municipal elections. 


Thankfully, progressive leaders in PA are already on the ground addressing these concerns and are working to register, educate, count, protect, empower, and mobilize voters in frontline communities.  


From working to protect the right to vote by mail, to training community members on how to run for office, to driving people to the polls, these groups are transforming the political landscape of Pennsylvania for good.
