Contribute to help grow Texas's progressive infrastructure

Texas is a historically red state that is noticeably trending blue. Republicans carried it in presidential elections by 15+ points in 2012, nine in 2016 and less than 6 points in 2020.

Growing immigrant communities and Black voters, along with mass defection of suburban voters, have made Texas a battleground state that will be very competitive in future elections. But with local and state politicians hell-bent on suppressing the vote, that change will not happen without a fight.

Texas is miles behind other states in building a progressive political infrastructure, and the hard work to engage frontline communities will take years of investment. It will require the know-how of local groups.

That's why Daily Kos has identified seven organizations in Texas who are doing the hard work today that will transform the state and empower frontline communities. Texas is a large, diverse state—and each group is working locally to engage their particular constituency.

Your money will go towards helping these organizations more effectively organize their community in Texas—for the 2022 election, and beyond—to sustain a progressive future.

Please contribute $1 to each organization to help them build a progressive Texas:
